I have wanted to purchase this Bible for a while and am more than pleased at the resources within the Bible. It not only is easy to read, but adds much more to Bible study. I love reading the life principles that Charles Stanley teaches.

I have been brought up in a Christian home, and I was born again when I was 5. I have owned as a personal Bible only two others for any length of time. My first was a gold colored covered hard back edition Good News Bible. I used that until it literally pretty much disintegrated! :) My next Bible which I was given my Senior year of High School was an NIV version hard back. Then a couple of weeks after my birthday this year, my dad and I accidentally left it in the back of his truck...the same day we had an unexpected rain storm. So, as a late birthday gift, I was told to pick out an edition I wanted, and they would call it a late birthday present.
Well, I have a good Christian friend who has gotten me watching and listening to Charles Stanley's broadcasts. His "life principles" is a very valuable tool when searching the Word for just the right topical information when you need it. So, I recalled an ad for the Bible after a Sunday morning service I watched before heading to church. Then much to my delight, I was able to locate a copy at this site with a soft leather cover.
I am very, very pleased with this Bible, and I highly recommend it to anyone. A life-long Christian may find new perspectives while a "young" to the faith believer may find the answers to some very disquieting questions. A non-believer may find some explanations for why Christians do some of the things we do, by using the included Life Principles throughout the text.

My husband got so carried away when this arrived that he had to force himself to stop looking and do other things. His quiet time is back in order and he is thrilled. So am I.
