I am sorry to report that the current Thompson Bibles are GARBAGE compared to the older ones. I want to WARN you that if you buy this bible you will get cheap cheap paper, faded print, and see through words from the other pages. And what is worst of all the words of Christ printed in red are a dull FADED red that is very hard to read. In short, if you want to buy a nice bible get an Oxford or Cambridge one. I want to say that I am not bashing the chain references or study guides...just the quality of the Bibles Kirbrige is making now.
