This is a great Bible map. Anyone who teaches, homeschools, or needs large print, will love this. This is a fantastic 20" x 26" wall chart that has a Bible map on the left and a modern-day map on the right. You can see where a biblical event happened using modern-day cities and countries. For example, Daniel was taken captive to Babylon. In today's terms, you might say Daniel was taken as a POW to Iraq and lived there the rest of his life. Or Jonah went to Ninevah, which would be in northern Iraq today. Queen Esther's palace would be in Iran today (Susa), just 100 miles NE of Kuwait City. The map has reproducible worksheets on the back, which may be photocopied and used in homeschool or classroom settings. It is printed on heavy chart paper for durability. Great when you are giving a Bible lesson and want to show where Moses or Abraham went. Kids and adults love to use maps. A map helps the stories come alive for them. (Note: A laminated version of this map is also available through this site. The plastic coating allows you to write on it using water soluble markers.) |
