This is the first Bible that I've bought and I've been very happy with it. I really like the translations, especially the Amplified. The notes for the Amplified can be a bit random sometimes, but very interesting.
I like the large print, it makes it very easy to read. The pages are thin, and it's a bit big, but that's a tradeoff I can make.
It's taken some abuse (unfortunately, accidentally), and has held up fine. I'm thinking I'll wrap it in duct tape eventually. The pages do have a tendency to fold and wrinkle up, though, being so thin. |
